I'm glad that's over!
A That escalated quickly-Ron Burgundy post.
The first thing that was supposed to be a small adjustment to the plan was a small adjustment to the plan. By Thursday it is a new project, a new budget and a meeting about the meeting. Nobody can say when it turned. You mention the dishwasher is a bit noisy. Your landlord says he'll "have a look". Forty minutes later there is a man in the hall, a bucket, and a conversation about the entire kitchen. "Just one quick drink after work." It is now 3 a.m., you are in a kebab shop in a town you don't live in, and someone has your jacket. You can't explain the middle part. You post a mild opinion about a sandwich. By teatime it has been quoted, ranked, dissected and brought up by your aunt, who doesn't have an account. **Why it caught on:** the picture is Will Ferrell as Ron Burgundy, the moustachioed 1970s news anchor in a blue suit from the 2004 film *Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy*, holding a beer in his office. The line comes from a scene where he describes a news team brawl that went from nothing to chaos in moments. People pasted it under any story that starts calmly and ends in disaster, and since it fits a wet fart, a heart attack or a family row equally well, it was never going to stay in one corner of the internet.
