Your flatmate swears he hasn't been eating your cheese. He says this with a cracker in his hand. The cracker has your cheese on it. You're "working from home" on a video call. Behind you, a seagull lands on the balcony rail and a man shouts "ice creams, two for five". Your manager asks how the weather is. The surprise party is planned in a group chat called "NOT FOR TOM". Tom was added to it by accident on day two. Tom has been reacting to the messages with a thumbs up. The dog is sitting very upright beside the shredded sofa cushion, looking at the wall with great interest. There is foam in his eyebrows. **Why it caught on:** "robots in disguise" is the line from the 1984 cartoon's theme song, and fans have been pointing out ever since that a five-metre robot is not, in practice, very disguisable.
